Mid-Level Systems Engineer: Crafting Excellence in Systems Integration Join our team as a Mid-Level Systems Engineer and become a key player in perfecting the integration of multi-disciplinary systems that drive the System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. Your expertise will help ensure the precision and timeliness of GEOINT delivery.
Key Responsibilities: - Execute a holistic approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.
- Translate user requirements into concrete solutions, designing solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, automating processes, and refining systems for improved efficiency.
- Play a pivotal role in system integration, performing analyses, and allocating requirements to enhance architecture components.
- Assist in strategic planning, risk management, and project management, ensuring seamless interface design and optimal performance engineering.
Required Skills and Experience: - US Citizenship.
- Top Secret / SCI security clearance issued by the US Government.
- Over 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related STEM field, or equivalent additional experience.
- Mid-level experience in government or industry, encompassing areas like DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or systems engineering of complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments.
- Mid-level or higher experience in systems engineering.
Desired Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering, including processes, tools, and .
- Familiarity with Software Development Frameworks.
- INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification.
- Proven track record in the field of geospatial intelligence.
- Active engagement in professional organizations like ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, USGIF.
- Working knowledge of geomatics, photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, and geographic information systems.
- Deep understanding of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
- Prior experience in NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project initiatives.
- Involvement in IC or DoD program/project initiatives.
