This exciting opportunity within the Systems Engineering team at Plus will focus on the End to End ADAS/AV feature engineering for Class 8 Semi trucks. The ADAS/AV Systems Engineer is expected to perform cross functional tasks which span the complete Automotive Engineering V-Model from Requirements Development to Verification and Validation for a suite of Driving Automation features developed by Plus.
Responsibilities: - Work with software developers, systems engineers and product managers to define System Requirements for SAE L0 - SAE L4 driving automation and Safety features
- Decompose external stakeholder Requirements/Regulations/Legislations into Sub-system requirements to be implemented on the target platform
- Design creative test cases to verify and validate the System Software running on Bench and Vehicle platforms Execute the Verification and Validation plans on test platforms
- Document requirements & test cases in requirements management tools such as JAMA/Polarion
- Generate automated methods for requirements and test case reporting to stakeholders
- Communicate the test results to relevant Stakeholders
Required Skills: - Pursuing Masters or PhD student in Electrical Engineering/ Systems Engineering/ Robotics
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with vehicle level Verification & Validation of software for AV, ADAS, powertrain, battery, chassis, etc
- Knowledge of vehicle communication networks/protocols such as CAN
- Previous experience or research with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)/ Autonomous Vehicles Proficiency in reading and understanding Python and C code, using linux based tools preferred, but not necessary
Preferred Skills: - Experience in autonomous technology
- SAE BAJA project experience
- FSAE project experience
- Systems Engineering experience from work or projects
- Previous Software & Systems testing experience

$19 - $65 an hour
