Systems Engineer- Space Force Scottsdale, AZ Contract Position Pay Estimated: $80.11-$85.11/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains. Responsibilities: Lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge ground operational systems that support critical defense missions.
Contribute to the design, configuration, and delivery of mission-critical systems.
Implement and maintain Configuration Management systems for data centers.
Manage enterprise-wide tracking and deployment of software updates.
Coordinate with software suppliers to monitor version control and release cycles.
Utilize IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow to support operations.
Oversee network configuration and IT service management processes.
Collaborate within Agile development teams to drive systems engineering efforts.
Support system integration and performance evaluations across development phases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field required.
8+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required per Federal Law.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
Proven experience across the systems development life cycle, from concept through deployment.
Demonstrated leadership in IT configuration and systems management.
Proficient with IT configuration management databases and tools.
Experienced with IT Service Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
Familiarity with tracking and deploying enterprise software updates.
Experience coordinating with multiple vendors and managing software release schedules.
Working knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications: Background in satellite communications.
Experience with ground-to-satellite communication systems.
