Job Description Applicants should have strong Model-Based Systems Engineering experience in multiple aspects of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle ranging from ConOps, Architecture, Design and Development, to Verification and Validation, and including Production, and Sustainment of Fielded Systems. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in MBSE processes, practices, tools and related modeling languages and frameworks (e.g. SysML or UML), and possess deep experience building and applying models to solve complex Systems Engineering challenges. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the technical MBSE and interpersonal skills necessary to guide a team in their total MBSE development activities. Finally, the successful candidate must be team players and have demonstrated experience in understanding Systems Engineering processes in support of either Development or Production activities. The role may also encompass the following System Engineering duties: Daily collaboration with the Facility stakeholders Develop system ConOps, architectures, and models of complex systems Provide and/or support system requirement elicitation, documentation, management, allocation, traceability, validation and verification activities Provide monitoring of and representation of Customer's technical requirements and needs Lead or support system trade studies Perform, or support, comprehensive planning and execution of all Systems Engineering activities Supports creation of Systems Engineering Technical plans Supports Proposal development and Capture team activities Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree required; engineering degree preferred.
Experience in the chemical process industry (3+ years), or 6+ years other relevant experience
Experience with various forms of Systems Engineering Analysis
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience
Ability to interface effectively with site operations and maintenance teams.
Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with various functional departments and customers
Ability to direct design teams and external design firms and create required engineering documentation using Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills INCOSE CSEP
Master's Degree
10+ years' experience preferred.
Experience in project or construction estimating
Experience in engineering design, development, construction and commissioning.
Experience in chemical manufacturing facilities that involve the use of acids, bases, and solvents for the production of energetic materials.
Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including UFC.
Experience with demilitarization, explosives site safety (DDESB), or environmental safety regulations (EPA, TDEC, etc.) Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
