Systems Engineer
Onsite, downtown Columbus, Ohio
Position Summary
The Systems Engineer will ensure effective implementation, support, and adoption of IT solutions, including desktops/laptops, backup systems, M365, servers, networks, and other technologies. This role involves enterprise-level system support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with IT team members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and prioritize IT support requests while maintaining detailed documentation.
- Manage computing environments, backups, disaster recovery, and system configurations.
- Assist in IT projects, including software updates, platform migrations, and employee training.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and mentor team members.
- Maintain technical documentation and stay updated on emerging technology trends.
Qualifications
- Experience with Active Directory, virtualization (e.g., vCenter, ESXi), M365, and backup systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft server platforms, Group Policy, Intune, and authentication protocols.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus.
