Systems Engineer

TITLE: Systems Engineer (you must currently have an ACTIVE Top Secret Security Clearance issued by Department of Defense) RATE RANGE: $85/hr - $112/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract) CLEARANCE: TS/SCI Security Clearance Required LOCATION: Onsite in Aurora, CO 80011 (no relocation package) DURATION: 12+ months or contract to hire No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join and expand our Systems Engineering team as the Product Development Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for one of our premier programs in the business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for the IPT's cost, schedule, and technical performance baseline. RESPONSIBILITIES Multidisciplinary team leadership Drive strong execution of the IPT to meet cost, schedule, and staffing commitments Monitoring adherence of IPT budgets, plans, and schedules to support program execution Support internal and external program reviews REQUIREMENTS Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience Experience driving cost, schedule, and/or technical performance Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment Experience with onboarding new work, proposals and/or basis of estimate (BOE) development Experience leading cross functional engineering teams with a proven track record Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of program, customers, and technical leads (IPTs, chief engineers, architects) Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
