We are seeking a Systems Development Engineer to be part of our innovative systems organization. At AWS Cryptography and Identity, we are pioneering advanced distributed security systems related to identity management, federation, web services security, and more. You will help empower our customers to manage some of the most sensitive data online.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional).
  • 5+ years of programming experience in at least one modern language (C , C , Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
  • 5+ years of experience designing or architecting systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.
  • 5+ years of experience deploying and operating within a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology.
  • 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems.

Compensation for this position varies by geographic market, with a base salary ranging from $136,100 to $235,200 per year based on experience and location.
