SHIFT

First shift:

5 - 8 hrs shift Mon-Fri

Mandatory 10 hour shifts on weekdays, and sometimes weekend hours when applicable operationally necessary.

Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable company and government policies.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate employee training and support.
  • Ensures that job and system documentation is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide both internal and external agencies audit support - Quality/EHS/OSHA, etc.
  • Provide operational support for hardware (RF devices and peripherals).
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Project management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP and WMS programs.
  • Highly proficient in the use of a PC, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with an in-depth understanding to transportation and logistics
    systems and software.
  • Ability to trouble shoot system versus operational issues.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex issues and programs to all levels of the organization.
  • Must have strong organizational, communication and influencing skills.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • 3+ years IT experience, required.
  • 3+ years IT experience in a fast-paced distribution and/or manufacturing work environment, preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with ERP and WMS software, preferred.
  • WMS and SAP experience, preferred.
Work Environment:
  • This position works in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work area is quiet to moderate. At times, position may be required to support operational activities in the distribution center.
  • If in the distribution center, the noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
