Responsibilities JOB OVERVIEW: ITC Federal is seeking a highly skilled Systems Architect who will be responsible for all IT systems work performed under this program. RESPONSIBILITIES: Establishes system information requirements. Determines and identifies high level functional and technical requirements. Designs architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements. Identifies, assesses, and presents options for meeting the functional and technical requirements. Is responsible for developing high level system design diagrams. Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the appropriate standards and security requirements. Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action. Overseas development, testing and implementation of systems and changes. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff. Qualifications REQUIRED: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 8 years' experience in Systems Engineering/Archiecture OR Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience. DESIRED: Experience supporting FEMA or similar disaster relief programs. Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of flood plain management, flood insurance, and mapping and/or ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
