LOCATION: Stafford, VA

CLEARANCE: TS/SCI

TRAVEL: Up to 25%

We have an immediate need to fill a Systems Analyst/Test Engineer. The position will be located at a government site in Stafford/Quantico, VA. TS/SCI is required.

Job Description:

LTC Solutions is seeking a well-qualified Systems Analyst/Test Engineer to support our Program Manager Intelligence and Cyberspace Operation (PM ICO) contract with Marine Corps Systems Command in Stafford, VA.

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance (DoD in DISS).

We are looking for a Systems Test Engineer with intimate knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, test and evaluation of information technology solutions (application, network, system, environment, etc.), system integration, and functional testing.

Position Description:
  • The Systems Test Engineer should be experienced in the design, documentation, and implementation of reusable engineering processes, test cases, test scripts, test plans, and test scenarios with a keen understanding of the process of traceability of test cases back to the top level of requirements.
  • Works closely with engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and to ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure.
  • Ensures solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements.
  • Understands the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the program environment, and evaluates the impact of changes or additions to systems.
  • Analyzes systems and performs usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements. May assist less experienced peers.
  • Experience with performance testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
  • Testing software deployed in an AWS, C2S or cloud environment.
  • Willingness to learn and perform code analysis, develop test automation scripts to execute and improve the efficiency of software testing.
  • Experience working with SQL Server, Microsoft Test Manager, Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows Server 2016).
  • Knowledge of virtual computing environment (VMware), Team Foundation Server 2018 -.
  • Experience in Agile Scrum development environment, testing weekly builds and full regression testing for production releases.
  • Experience in SIGINT, supporting analyst processes, applications, and related products.
  • Holistic understanding of the Intelligence Community
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Virtualization, Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux technologies.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
General Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements, specifications, scope, and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs.
  • Perform system demonstrations for the user community along with participation in requirements meetings.
  • Identify system integrity issues and solutions for the full system life cycle from concept to disposal.
  • Conduct software patch testing and verification along with developing documentation as required for Developmental Test Events (Test Plan, Test Report, Release Notes).
  • Develop and maintain Security Controls test cases, reports, and other documents as required for accreditation events.
  • Provide support to external customers for training development and system troubleshooting
  • Provide engineering and program support on planning, logistics, design, test, evaluation, and systems engineering of research, development, test, and evaluation projects
  • Evaluate existing test artifacts and design test cases/scripts for new releases with minimal supervision.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience should include at least two of the following skills: recommending and implementing automated test tools and strategies; writing, implementing, and reporting status for system test cases; developing, maintaining, and upgrading test scripts; analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports; demonstrating the ability to investigate and analyze software problems in test and operational environments.
  • Ability to follow Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Ability to self-learn, act on own initiative, and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Operational background with Marine Corps intelligence programs preferred.
