Systems Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a systems analyst to support a large utility client locally in the Tampa area. They will be the primary support for the SCADA systems. They will troubleshoot and debug the system, work with vendors/business partner for upgrades on the system, and work with the Networking/ Operations team during monthly patching activities on the system. Other responsibilities include integrating applications with moderately complex interfaces based on specifications provided. Providing primary and/or secondary support for one or more applications classified as niche, core, or mission-critical. Supporting the request and analysis phases of SDLC by producing required documentation and estimates. Executing the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing the prescribed deliverables with review by more senior staff.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.

-Support and systems integration experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and/or meter measurement systems.

-Demonstrate knowledge of programming languages and use of developer tools such as (PL/SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio).

-Bachelor's Degree Required -Experience in the utility industry

-Experience with support and implementation of meter data management solutions. null
