Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst II to support and optimize the Cerner Patient Accounting and Cerner Profile/AccessHIM (Health Information Management) applications within our healthcare organization. The Systems Analyst II will ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and enhancement of these systems, which manage patient billing, revenue cycle, and health information management processes. This role requires technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and collaboration with billing, finance, clinical, and HIM staff to improve system performance and meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

• Provide day-to-day support for the Cerner Patient Accounting and Cerner Profile/AccessHIM
applications, troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, system maintenance, enhancements, and ensuring data integrity

• Coordinate with Cerner support teams and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues related to Patient Accounting and Profile/AccessHIM

• Strong understanding of patient accounting, revenue cycle management, and institutional and professional billing processes

• Proficiency in system configuration, troubleshooting, and testing within a healthcare IT environment

• Develop and maintain documentation, including system processes, user guides, and training materials for patient accounting and HIM workflows.

• Knowledge of Discern Rules, Purge jobs, CPDI as it relates to the document types, and GL (preferred)

Pay Range
Minimum $39.49 Midpoint $52.33 Maximum $65.16

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

• Required: Minimum three (3) years' experience in healthcare information systems and technology.

• Preferred: Four (4) or more years of experience in role or equivalent experience.

Education

• Required: Associate degree or two additional years of experience in lieu of education.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Training

• Required: None required.

Specialized Skills

• Required: Verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills (Microsoft Office) required. Good communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

• Preferred: Experience in progressively responsible assignments in system analysis functions.

Licensure

• Required: None required.
