We'r e seeking a Systems Administrator to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for enterprise-level Microsoft server platforms for our government custome r . RESPONSIBILITIES Install, configure, test, sustain, and upgrade Microsoft server-based solutions (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange, File Services, SQL Server, SharePoint) Provide initial escalation support for service requests, incidents, and problems from the IT Enterprise Service Desk Troubleshoot and resolve issues using remote monitoring and management tools across a globally dispersed IT enterprise Contribute to and maintain documentation, including as-built documentation, capacity/performance plans, policies, procedures, workflows, and run books Ensure solutions comply with U.S. Government security standards (e.g., DISA SRGs, STIGs) Collaborate with customers to accurately capture and address IT service requests, incidents, or problems REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field; OR one year of related experience in lieu of each year of education; OR one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) 3+ years of hands-on experience providing O&M support for enterprise Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and applications (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange, File Services, SQL Server, SharePoint) across LAN, MAN, or WAN environments Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Active Directory for authentication and authorization Knowledge of secure processing environments adhering to DISA SRGs and STIGs Proficiency in using remote monitoring and management tools for troubleshooting and issue resolution Strong communication skills to engage with customers in person or over the phone Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for a polygraph PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical certifications in enterprise-level technologies (e.g., Citrix, Cisco, Microsoft, Red Hat, Splunk, SolarWinds) Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, or Microsoft IIS 10 Familiarity with Microsoft PowerShell for local and remote diagnostics Knowledge of basic networking troubleshooting concepts Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange services, including mailbox and public folder administration
