Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

As a Systems Administrator, you will: Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure. Develop, implement and maintain monitoring solutions using tools such as SolarWinds, Open Text, Ansible, SCOM. Analyze system performance data and generate reports to identify trends and potential issues. Respond to alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure system stability and performance. Create and maintain documentation for monitoring processes, configurations, and procedures. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in systems monitoring, network administration, or a similar role. Proficiency with SCOM. Strong understanding of network protocols, system architecture, and IT infrastructure. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, Azure/AWS Cloud certification, etc This position requires the candidate to work out of the Arlington, VA office once a week. In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range is $78,000 - $95,000; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
