LHH is working with a client based in Manhattan that is looking to hire a Systems Admin to join their team for a Direct Hire position. The role will be primarily onsite at their HQ in Manhattan.
This individual will primarily serve in a user and systems support role, collaborating closely with other user support and system administration staff. The position offers opportunities to learn and expand skills in supporting our systems infrastructure, including application servers, system virtualization, storage, backups, and system monitoring.
Job Duties: - Collaborate with our Helpdesk team to provide operational support for workstations, applications, networks, and both on-site and remote users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, documenting work and processes clearly.
- Build and maintain physical and virtual workstations.
- Provide real-time support and troubleshooting for virtual conferences, meetings, and recordings.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding tasks.
- Maintain an inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses.
- Communicate and troubleshoot with vendors to ensure products are up-to-date and functioning.
- Research new technologies and present recommendations.
Required Skills: - Minimum of 3 years' experience in a helpdesk or system support role.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365: Entra ID, Intune, Teams, SharePoint.
- Expertise with Windows Operating Systems and MS Office.
- Awareness and knowledge of cybersecurity threats and best practices.
- Demonstrated skill in configuring, deploying, and maintaining operating systems and software on workstations, mobile devices, and virtual machines.
- Proficiency with conferencing software features and functions, including MS Teams, Zoom, and multimedia production equipment.
- Experience maintaining peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and VOIP phones.
- Understanding of networking concepts, equipment, WiFi network management, and basic TCP/IP networking.
Preferred Abilities: - Experience with Microsoft 365 deployment, architecture design, and security assessment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows File Servers, and DFS.
- Experience supporting database-driven client/server information systems.
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Hyper-V, or equivalent.
- Experience with scripting, system monitoring, and automation tools.
- Availability for occasional travel to other company offices if necessary.

- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, manage time, and adapt to changing requirements and needs.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
