Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, Florida. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:

• Availability to work at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);

• Experience with Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022 (2-3 years);

• Experience in IIS Administration (2-3 years);

• Experience with network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions (2-3 years);

• IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration (3-5 years);

• Experience in information systems engineering or another related field (5-8 years);

• Experience with Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu);

• Experience with Microsoft 365 services.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform

Preferred:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud systems (2-3 years);

• Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (2-3 years);

• Experience in the administration of Microsoft software (2-3 years);

• Experience in supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (3-5 years).

Responsibilities:

• Support and expand infrastructure;

• Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties;

• Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades;

• Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance;

• Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls;

• Maintain network and systems performance by performing systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting systems and application problems; escalating problems to vendor;

• Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
