Systems Administrator - Mid Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a collaborative mid-level Systems Administrator to support the maintenance of computing equipment throughout the full lifecycle of one or more large, complex curriculum development programs. The role involves managing servers, laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT assets. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining operational security posture of the information system, supporting security authorization activities in compliance with the sponsor policies, and developing and maintaining procedures for vulnerability and risk assessment analysis. You must possess an active secret clearance. MUST be willing to work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. Responsibilities:
• Install and configure software, hardware and networks

• Ensure security and efficiency of hardware (Servers, laptop and desktop computers) and IT infrastructure

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

• Identify system requirements and install upgrades

• Create backups and safeguard the data

• Manage system administration in both a classified and unclassified environment Qualifications: Required:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering is required with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. (Additional experience may substitute for degree.)
• Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and associated tools.

• Experience with network and information system security principles and test practices in a classified and unclassified environments.

• Previous experience controlling, labeling, virus scanning, and appropriately transferring data (upload/download) between information systems at varying classification levels.

• Familiarity with applicable IC, DoD policies, procedures and operating instructions related to IT, IA, and IM.

• Excellent communications skills including verbal and written

• Ability to handle efficiently and effectively multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

• Experience developing software in C .

• Experience debugging code.

• Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results. Active Secret-level security clearance. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.) Desired:
• Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Sec+ or any level II DoD 8570 compliant certification.

• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
