Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator with experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications and data infrastructure. This role requires expertise in D365 administration, security, performance tuning, troubleshooting, integrations, data warehousing, and business intelligence (BI) reporting using Power BI.

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, reliability, security, and scalability of D365, enterprise applications, and the data warehouse. This role will collaborate with infrastructure, security, development, and data analytics teams to support integrations, system enhancements, BI reporting, and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

D365 Administration & Application Management
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, including Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE).
  • Manage D365 security roles, user permissions, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Support D365 integrations with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps), Azure, and third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse, ETL processes, and reporting solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Ensure D365 system updates, patches, and feature rollouts are properly tested and deployed.
  • Monitor and optimize D365 application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Security, Compliance, & Audit Support
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for D365, data warehouses, and other enterprise applications.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOX, or other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain audit logs, system activity reports, and access controls for compliance and security audits.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams to monitor and mitigate security risks related to enterprise applications and data management.
Integration, Automation, & Cloud Infrastructure
  • Support API integrations between D365, data warehouses, databases, ERP, and cloud platforms.
  • Develop and manage automation scripts for system administration, data processing, and infrastructure management.
  • Manage Azure services related to D365, including Azure AD, Logic Apps, Data Lake, and Dataverse.
  • Optimize Microsoft environments (on-premises, cloud, or hybrid) for scalability and performance.
Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to align D365 and data warehouse solutions with business needs.
  • Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, data schemas, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide insights into application architecture, system enhancements, and data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in enterprise system administration, supporting business-critical applications and data management.
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications.
    • Expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting (Power BI, SQL, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
    • Experience supporting audit and compliance processes within an enterprise IT environment.
Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with D365 administration, Dataverse, and Power Platform integrations.
  • Experience working with data warehouses, ETL tools, and BI solutions (Power BI, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure AD, Data Lake, and API Management).
  • Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity management solutions.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (MB-910, MB-920)
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or ITIL Certification (preferred but not required)
