JOB DESCRIPTION: This role involves the installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of systems, including necessary hardware.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage system infrastructures, applying best practices to identify and recommend system functional specifications, configure both physical and virtual systems, and oversee backup and recovery of IT infrastructure.
- Support tasks may include system updates and performance tuning, as well as storage space allocation.
- Implement critical patches, review system performance logs to identify anomalies, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Contribute significantly towards achieving key project/program objectives and deliverables.
- Take responsibility for entire projects or processes that span multiple technical areas.
- Manage large projects or processes that moderately impact the overall results of the team.
- Develop solutions for complex technical challenges that influence multiple areas or disciplines, regularly employing creativity and innovation to devise new technical solutions and systems that fulfill functional objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members across various areas and with client team members.
- May engage with external parties, such as subcontractors and vendors.
- Work to influence project/team leaders on solution design, processes, and approaches.
Education/Experience: - Extensive knowledge and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- A Bachelor's degree and 8 - 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 - 10 years of relevant experience are typically required. A Doctorate in a technical domain may also be accepted.
- Consideration will be given for 12 - 15 years of equivalent experience in field service or systems administration in lieu of a degree.
Pay Range: $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
