Systems Administrator

This role will provide immediate support in the management life cycle of BlueHalo IT enterprise equipment, services, and servers residing in multiple on prem location and cloud environments. Routine activities will include planning, documenting, installing, provisioning, troubleshooting, backing up, maintaining, and repairing Windows and Linux systems. These physical and virtual systems reside in any combination of cloud, on prem, labs, other.

Additional immediate focus will be in support of Bluehalo's CMMC compliance efforts that requires much collaboration between multiple departments as we ensure the environment remains highly secure while also enabling our user base. It is imperative this candidate possess a strong work ethic along with great communication and technical skills. The candidate should also possess the ability to take on new technologies as required. Candidate will be responsible for providing leadership frequent status updates for all work and project activities. The successful candidate will be very team focused with a strong desire to seek the inclusion of other team members. This senior level role will require an individual that desires to see others do well and willing to provide mentorship as needed.

REQUIRED:
-United States Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a United States Department of Defense Security Clearance.
-Information Technology Degree with 4+ years of IT experience
-Certifications: A+ / Security+ / Microsoft / Linux / Cloud or Virtualization
-Knowledge of Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems
-Advanced troubleshooting skills; diagnosing and resolving issues
-Proficiency with Office Suite and Visio
-Excellent Documentation Skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Prior Superior Customer Service Experience
-Ability & Willingness to take job enhancing classes
