Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated System Administrator to join our SharePoint Support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, managing SharePoint environments, and ensuring the smooth operation of SharePoint services. This role requires a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT team members and our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier II support for SharePoint-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint environments, including site collections and web applications.
  • Set up and configure new SharePoint sites, subsites, and permissions as needed.
  • Monitor system performance, specifically identifying any errors or issues and reporting to Microsoft.
  • Create and modify workflows, lists, and web parts to meet user needs.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to create custom solutions as needed.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for enterprise deployments of SharePoint.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SharePoint support knowledge bases.
  • Provide training to end-users and ensure the effective operation of the SharePoint environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint administration and support.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and administration.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint management.
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with ShareGate or other migration tools.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

Salary/ Wage Range

$72,000.00-$100,400.00 / year Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
