About the Position Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking a Systems Administrator - Automation Specialist.Reporting to the Director of IT, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting Groome's Information Technology initiatives relating to configuration, automation, maintenance, data centralization, and identity management.

Key Responsibilities- Assist with maintaining parts of the technical infrastructure of Groome Industrial's computer systems, including operating systems, servers, applications, and network infrastructure
- Assist with managing hardware and software lifecycles in accordance with Groome's policies
- Documentation of various processes throughout the company and analyzing them for improvements to streamline processes within the company
- Based on documented procedures, develop and implement automation focused processes across the company
- Create and implement integration strategies for data transfers between various systems in support of company growth initiatives
- Occasional support activities for endpoints and basic networking as needed in coordination with managed service providers and venders (business hours)
- Contributing to and leading ad hoc projects, as necessary and assigned by your manager.
What does it take to work for Groome Industrial Service Group? - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or relevant field or equivalent experience and certifications
- 5 years experience with Modern Microsoft product administration (Entra ID, Office365, Azure, etc)
- 3 years experience with Powershell or other scripting languages
- 2 years experience with PowerAutomate or similar RPA Tools
- Experience with building, maintaining, and supporting automation processes
- Experience with building, maintaining, and supporting ETL processes
- Experience with building, maintaining, and supporting data warehouse infrastructure
- Familiarity with request and trigger driven processes and data structures
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Some travel maybe required to gather an understanding of existing business processes or facilitate small project implementations
- Preference given to Microsoft certification holders for Dynamics, Azure, Entra, and 365
