Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Systems Administrator for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for ensuring the integrity and protection of Kimball Midwest's systems and data.
  • Responsible for contributing input to system designs and implementations with a dedicated focus.
  • Collaborates with the IT Operations team to vigilantly monitor security vulnerabilities.
  • Documents, handles, or escalates cybersecurity alerts and events according to department protocol and procedures, executing established technical process workflows
  • Configures systems to monitor for indicators of cybersecurity events/compromise
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of IT Support Experience
  • Basic level understanding of Cyber Security Operations, including monitoring, detection, incident response, and forensics
  • Intermediate understanding of Linux and Windows servers, databases and data extraction, networking, internet protocols, and OSI layer models
  • The ability to work outside of normal business hours
