Summary:
AgReserves, Inc is seeking a self-driven and collaborative
Systems Administrator III to join the IT Support team and provide end users world-class technical support while representing the IT department through resolution of business unit and division-level systems issues. The ideal candidate is successful independently and works as a supportive member of a cohesive team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide resolutions for tickets submitted using the support systems and ensure end users understand how to use support systems efficiently and submit tickets properly.
- Front line support for corporate applications and systems.
- Provide server administration or advanced software administration including for core back-office applications.
- Respond promptly and courteously to support requests, calls, emails, and other electronic communications.
- Properly document and maintain support tickets of incoming requests for service.
- Analyze performance of support activities and documented resolutions to identify problem areas.
- Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes and systems.
- Serve as back-up point of contact between IT department and end users needing to resolve issues.
- Keep organized and accurate inventory of computing system components.
- Lead and contribute to a variety of IT projects, products, and team tasks.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Coordinate, verify, and validate. vendor activities.
- Assist with networking issues and equipment installation.
- Upkeep industry knowledge and development of technical skills through continued education.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in IT, networking and systems administration.
- Proficiency in 5+ of the following system or processes: O365, Windows OS, IT Asset Management, endpoint mgmt, support center, mobile device management, technical onboarding, equipment inventory management, and miscellaneous training
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (IS, IT, etc).
- Certifications and/or demonstrated proactive efforts of continued education in IT.
- Strong demonstrated communication skills with ability to effectively communicate concepts, using verbal and written skills to technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
- Skilled at troubleshooting, following through on issues/tasks, research/analysis and systems implementation.
- Able to work overtime and after-hours to meet deadlines, and travel to various office locations, as needed.
