Systems Administrator III We are seeking a customer service-oriented Sr Systems Administrator responsible for the upkeep of our infrastructure both cloud and on-prem as well as be the point person for tier 3 escalations. This role requires a dynamic individual who can ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT systems while delivering exceptional support to all stakeholders. As the Systems Administrator, you will work closely with other departments to develop and support innovative solutions that meet our business needs. Your role will be critical in fostering a customer-focused approach within the IT team, ensuring that our technology infrastructure not only supports but enhances our service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations: - Build, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure including on-prem and cloud servers and networks
- Assist in design and implementation of new solutions and tools in our infrastructure and application stack
- Maintain and improve our MDM tools and processes
- Oversee IAM (Identity Access Management) via Entra ID (Azure AD) and local AD
- Manage the Microsoft 365 Exchange environment
- Assist in security tool management and compliance
- Monitor and maintain routine system updates, patches, and backups
- Create and maintain documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes
- Assist in M&A activities including hands-on setups and streamline processes
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support and server administration.
- Proven experience in customer service or support roles within an IT environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing and supporting IT infrastructures, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
- Working knowledge of good cyber hygiene.
- Excellent skillset in virtualization technologies
- Azure cloud experience is a plus
- Leadership and Communication:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and support.
