- Lead the definition and formalization of Level 0 propulsion system requirements, ensuring completeness, consistency, and traceability.
- Develop high-level functional requirement artifacts using IBM DOORS Next Gen (DNG) and PLM ENOVIA, applying correct attribute classifications and taxonomy.
- Contribute to early-phase target definition and alignment with vehicle-level requirements, customer expectations, and regulatory constraints.
- Drive continuous monitoring and maturation of requirements across architecture design, simulation, and testing activities.
- Guarantee alignment of system requirements with downstream component, function and software specifications.
- Support design reviews, verification planning, and requirement sign-offs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure integration of simulation and physical test results into the requirements validation process, providing support for root cause analysis when test or simulation outcomes deviate from requirements.
- Conduct impact analysis and change management in response to design changes or validation findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Automotive, Energy, or Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in system engineering, preferably in propulsion-related roles (OEMs, Tier-1s, or consulting).
- Solid understanding of hybrid systems (xEV) and electric vehicle (BEV) architectures.
- Proficiency with requirements engineering tools (IBM DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or similar).
- Familiarity with vehicle development lifecycle, including concept definition, design freeze, EOL (end-of-line), and delivery phases.
- Experience interpreting simulation models, testing results, and technical specifications.
- Ability to work across functional domains (hardware, software, controls, thermal, etc.).
- Excellent command of technical English, both written and spoken.
Software & Tools:
- Expert-level knowledge of IBM DOORS Next Gen (DNG) and PLM systems (e.g.: ENOVIA).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word and PowerPoint (for technical reporting and presentations), Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, graphs, and query analysis).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, internal PLM/ALM systems) and Agile/Waterfalls project management.
- Bonus: Experience with simulation and testing environments such as MATLAB/Simulink, GT-SUITE, or AVL tools.
