System Monitoring Analyst

Required Skills
- Willing to Work primarily in weekend shift and different shift timing on week days on need basis to monitor production system.
- 2+ years of experience in monitoring different types of applications, databases, operating systems, network protocols, and web servers.
- Experience monitoring overall systems performance (windows applications, IIS web applications / services and batch jobs etc) to identify potential issues, report, analyze and tune them appropriately.
- Experience using SCOM and Azure Monitoring/AppInsights monitoring tools
- Experience writing medium to complex level SQL queries, well versed with MS excel to build reports
- Ready to work in weekend shift and different shift timing on week days.
- Should have good communication skills to coordinate and be able to work effectively within and across teams.

Responsibilities
- Work primarily in weekend shift and different shift timing on week days on need basis to monitor production system.
- Monitor .Net web applications, databases, operating systems, network protocols, and web servers.
- Monitor reports and alert and act quickly to address any reported issue
- nalyze and troubleshoot to identify potential issues and report to different teams for solution.
- Configure/setup and operationalize different alerts and reports
- Writing SQL queries and build reports using MS excel as part of analysis and troubleshooting of different identified/reported issues.
- Should have good communication skills to coordinate and be able to work effectively within and across teams.
