We are seeking a driven Systems Engineer to join a high-performing IT team dedicated to ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance across end-user devices, servers, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) systems. The role emphasizes day-to-day user support, L1-level infrastructure assistance, and working within a regulated, pharmaceutical-grade IT environment. Ideal candidates are proactive problem-solvers who thrive in collaborative settings and bring experience managing cloud, network, and security operations within a GMP context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user and GMP systems support through tickets, phone, and remote tools.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and site-specific IT SOPs, especially in GMP environments.
  • Perform L1 support for server infrastructure (on-prem/cloud), networks, and telecom systems.
  • Assist core IT teams with first-level support on cyber security tools including Crowdstrike, Zscaler, and Privileged Access Management systems.
  • Troubleshoot and support business devices-laptops, desktops, smartphones, conferencing tools, and endpoint software.
  • Execute repairs and manage hardware inventory for endpoint devices and network components.
  • Maintain endpoint device and GMP/OT/IT asset inventories with a focus on accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Support operations across Windows environments (10/11, server editions), Microsoft 365, virtualization tools (eg, VMWare), and wireless platforms (eg, Aruba).
  • Support VIP users with white-glove IT service delivery.
  • Flexibly respond to off-hour crises and support site IT needs in multi-shift operations.
  • Collaborate with QA and CSV teams on GMP compliance initiatives.

QualificationsEducation & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications a plus: CCNP, MCSA, CEH, CISSP, etc.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in an IT support or infrastructure role, preferably in a GMP-compliant or regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba technologies and concepts such as routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, IP phones, and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of network segmentation and IT-OT security best practices.
  • Proven success managing LAN/WAN systems, access points, and endpoint security.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and conferencing solutions is beneficial.
