Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience with SCADA System Engineering
- Experience generating Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and working with schematics, specifications and designing
- Experience with RTUs/Gateways and PLCs
- Bachelors in Engineering
Job Description:
The System Engineer will design Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, develop system standards and specifications, and generate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and requests for system enhancements. They will evaluate ECRs for technical and/or economical advantages, support Marketing and Sales with technical and quotation activities, and conduct customer training courses. Additionally, the engineer will provide technical support to Customer Service, acting as a liaison for customer problems and performing field services when required. They will perform engineering studies related to system problems or new requirements, provide technical support to System Test technicians on project-related issues, and participate in product planning and definition. Writing system documentation, creating Parts Lists/Bill of Materials, developing Equipment Layout and Interconnection Drawings, creating Points Lists/Point Assignment Charts, and creating SCADA Displays and Database are also part of the role. The engineer will program Remote Terminal Units (RTUs)/Gateways, adhere to all company ISO 9001 procedures and standards, travel when necessary, and perform other duties as required.
