Job Description
Responsibilities The System Director of Laboratory provides strategic direction for the clinical laboratories of Norton Healthcare. Assures delivery of highest quality laboratory services by standardizing laboratory services, methods and practices. Assures that external agency compliance standards are implemented and monitored. Researches clinical laboratory best practices and monitors regulatory environment for changes. Oversees laboratory leaders at multiple locations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provides strategic leadership for laboratory services, including operations, clinical services, academic affiliations, clinical education, adoption of technology, and human resources management.
- Develops relationships and works in concert with Norton Healthcare's CPA laboratory.
- Develops, implements, and monitors system policies for laboratory practice.
- Performs stewardship of resources through budget management, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Assures regulatory compliance related to laboratory practice.

Qualifications Required:
- Five years of progressive lab leadership & management
- Bachelor's Degree
- Licensed as a Medical Technologist
