System Development Engineer, NextGen Security Automation

The NextGen Security Automation team seeks a skilled and driven System Development Engineer to develop infrastructure and rollout procedures that enable autonomous security solutions protecting Amazon's customers. As a SysDev engineer, you will utilize AI/ML technologies to automate security issue remediation at Amazon's scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure (pipelines, testing, build systems, etc.) to enable AI/ML-driven systems for autonomous security issue remediation at scale.
- Collaborate with software development teams to test and release AI-driven solutions.
- Work with security teams to enhance existing security practices, guardrails, and tooling.
- Integrate new solutions into the Amazon security ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C , C , Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology.
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience working in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
