Rolls-Royce is looking for individuals with a strong background in Systems Design & Integration to join the team in Derby.

Our Systems Design Integration engineers are responsible for problem resolution, defining requirements, and designing and integrating products & systems. They perform concept-level technical analysis to verify potential solutions.

Our hybrid working model allows flexibility between office, home, or other remote locations, with an expectation to attend the workplace approximately three days per week for collaboration and specific activities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Applying understanding of NSRP and wider Nuclear product operation, managing interfaces.
  • Designing systems using Systems Engineering principles, including Robust Design tools & techniques.
  • Managing system-level requirements and change processes.
  • Verifying system compliance and ownership of standardisation reports.
  • Communicating effectively with all levels, including customers.
  • Coordinating with extended multi-disciplinary teams.

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge in mechanical design and cross-discipline engineering concepts.
  • Ability to apply logical, analytical, and innovative thinking to technical problems.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body.
