As the Systems Configuration Analyst, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, development and integration of our Planning systems.

You will support and enable our operational colleagues in their day to day activities and usage of the systems ensuring best practice, standardised ways of working are obtained.


The role will include line management responsibility for a small team of Planning & System Support. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with system suppliers and internal tech teams.

This will ensure you are operating within wider business practices / guidelines and aware of opportunities to continuously improve the effectiveness and value add to be gained.


Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

  • Have the ability to help shape the implementation of our systems, creating and maintaining ways of working that will add valuable and direct benefit within the business.

  • The role will support our customers within the Residential, Credit & SME Operations across numerous sites (primarily Nottingham, Bolton & Leicester) and although the role will support hybrid working, time spent at each site will be relative to the business needs.

  • Lead and manage a small team of system administrators.

  • Ensure system utilisation is supportive of our culture and TOM.

  • Take a lead role in the set up, configuration and implementation of NICE WFM / Anaplan within our business.

  • Support the roll out of NICE WFM / Anaplan across all of our customers.

  • Work alongside tech teams and system suppliers to ensure interfaces are in place and effective.

  • Develop WFM Configuration and maintenance, ways of working to ensure the system is adding value and enabling business effectiveness and outcomes.

  • Create and document ways of working / best practices for peers and customers to interact with our systems.

  • Advocate our systems via hands on support of our customers establishing support desk practices in order to resolve questions / issues in a timely manner.

  • Acting as a subject matter expert in respect of the WFM tool, driving use and effectiveness with Operations Managers and Team Leaders.

  • Working collaboratively as part of the wider Operational Planning & Performance Team and Operational Teams to contribute to building a high performance culture.

  • Taking ownership of own development and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and sharing opportunities for improvement.


Are we the perfect match?

  • Knowledge of NICE WFM and significant experience in the set up, config and

  • Maintenance of the system.

  • Knowledge of Anaplan capabilities and relative experience.

  • Experience of working in and fully understanding the planning cycle in a multisite, multi-channel customer service environment.

  • Experience of resource planning processes in a contact centre or similar environment.

  • Strong analytical experience in using both Microsoft / Google applications.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Communicative and influential.
