This is an Application Support Focused Short-Term W2 Hourly Contract Position for a Special Project


Details:

  • Contract Length: 2-4 Months Long
  • Work Location: Richmond, TX 77469
  • Hours are Mon-Fri 40-hour weeks (8am - 5pm CST)
  • Hybrid Work Schedule: Onsite 2-3x a week will be required (Rotating Fridays).

Overview:

  • We're looking for a tech-savvy, solutions-oriented Systems Administrator with a strong background in software application support (not networking or hardware).
  • This role is all about adaptability, problem-solving, and working across a variety of enterprise-level platforms to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for multiple enterprise software applications (e.g., ServiceNow, OnBase, Lawson, Workday, QuickBase, Tyler Technologies' Enterprise Justice, Everbridge).
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications, including coordinating updates and integrations with third-party vendors.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors under maintenance agreements-communicating technical issues and tracking resolutions.
  • Analyze system performance logs, identify root causes of issues, and offer clear solutions.
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new systems with minimal guidance.
  • Support end users (tiers 2 and 3), helping them troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation for internal use.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business users, and external partners to ensure seamless system operations and application support.
  • Recommend system improvements, enforce policies, and support disaster recovery and security standards.

Required Experience (one or more of the following):

  • ServiceNow (especially with multiple modules)
  • OnBase
  • Lawson
  • Workday
  • QuickBase or similar low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Tyler Technologies Enterprise Justice
  • Everbridge

Minimum Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • OR High School/GED and 10+ years of relevant experience

Required Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of application configuration, integration, and administration.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and across departments and vendor teams.
  • Bonus Points For: Certifications or hands-on experience with any of the preferred platforms listed above.
