Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team in Herndon, VA. This role supports the design, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical IT infrastructure for both commercial and government customers operating in some of the most demanding environments on Earth. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, virtual machines, networks, and data storage. Lead and mentor IT systems team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering professional growth. Provide advanced technical support to ensure high performance, security, and availability of systems. Manage IT projects such as system upgrades, network enhancements, and technology integrations. Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to ensure compliance with industry and organizational standards. Basic Qualifications: Active TS/SCI w/Active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required. Experience administering Linux/Unix or Windows platforms. 5+ years of experience troubleshooting complex network issues. 5+ years of experience communicating technical information to customers in both written and verbal formats. Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience with RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server environments. Expertise in virtualization, automation, and patch management. Familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Proven ability to harden systems and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of related experience, An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
