System Administrator with Security Clearance

Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Proactively manage system infrastructure including, databases, testing computer equipment, and other software and hardware. Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise. Perform system monitoring and analysis verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, performance tuning and troubleshooting of servers, software and hardware and respond to anomalies. Regularly upgrade system software and firmware as required. Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS BS degree in Computer Science or similar field preferred, relevant work experience may be substituted. 5+ years of experience as a system administrator. In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux operating system. Good knowledge of several scripting languages. GITLAB and puppet experience desirable. GPFS/IBM ESS experience desirable Experience with Cloud Environments and architectures under K8s orchestration desirable. General understanding of IP networks, switching, subnets and VLANs. General understanding of hardware to include Servers, Blade Chassis, Fiber Channels, SANS Ability to respond to support requests after hours. Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing environment. Knowledge of system security concerns and vulnerabilities. Experience with RH Directory Server or FOSS alternatives Good problem-solving abilities. Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently. IA certification (either Security+ or CISSP). CLEARANCE Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph TRAVEL Willingness to travel to customer sites preferred. Travel usually not to exceed 25%
