System Administrator Level 3 Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-Time System Administrator Level 3 to support our client with mission-critical system architecture, design, and deployment efforts in a dynamic and high-impact environment. The selected candidate will apply expert knowledge in system design, administration, and troubleshooting to support Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) frameworks and large-scale software deployments. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience working with Linux/Unix environments, container technologies such as Kubernetes, and advanced system configuration management tools. This individual will provide expert-level support to mission-focused development teams, collaborate with other IT and engineering disciplines, and contribute to the design and sustainability of scalable, secure, and efficient IT architecture. Tasks Performed:
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
• Manage and maintain system interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.
• Monitor and optimize system performance across distributed SOA components.
• Collaborate with software development and network teams to align system configurations with evolving architectural requirements. Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED with at least 20 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems, with 15 years of relevant experience.
• Must posses a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience administering large software deployments on Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Container Technology, administering clustered storage solutions, Kubernetes orchestrated containers.
• Experience with system configuration management software and change control.
• Experience with Linux / Unix command-line.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ceph.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet. Other Job Requirements:
• Minimum Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
• U.S. Citizenship, and successful background check.
