Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a System Administrator to join our team. The System Administrator is a generalist who supports multiple offices across the country with systems, hardware, software, and security. This position comes with the opportunity to help establish foundational technology solutions, vendor and capacity management, and infrastructure and cloud management. The ability to provide top-tier service support across the organization is imperative to be successful in this role.

What you will do:
  • Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including tenant migration for new firm acquisitions.
  • System Administration - support of Windows servers, desktops, and LAN/WAN configuration.
  • Migrations - acquisition support including migrating legacy systems and data to cloud solutions
  • Vendor Management - service providers, cloud environments, and software solutions.
  • Asset and Capacity management - hardware inventory and procurement, licensing, and subscriptions
  • Process Management - assist with systems process development and documentation.
  • Security Applications - maintain network security applications, including EDR and various other products
  • Firewalls - deploy and manage office firewall configurations.
  • Educations - maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and develop technical skills through continuing education.
  • Light End User Support - assisting the Service Desk team in troubleshooting high-level computer and networking issues.
  • Telephony - assist with cloud-based VoIP and various other phone deployments.
  • Must be able to work overtime and after-hours to meet deadlines as necessary,
  • Travel to various offices and locations across the United States will be required
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and work in tight spaces (wiring a computer under desks.)
What we look for:
  • 5+ years progressive IT experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred (but not required)
  • Previous L2+ MSP experience is preferred
  • Microsoft 365 experience including Intune, Exchange, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive, with extensive Intune experience preferred
  • RMM, automation and PowerShell scripting experience
  • Windows OS support including group policies, security, VM technologies, and BDR strategies
  • Strong knowledge of networking and security principles including LAN, WAN, VLAN, routing, switching, VoIP and wireless technologies
  • Experience deploying/managing firewalls, content filters, switches, and wireless access points
  • End user support experience
  • Demonstrate excellent work ethic and communication skills - written, verbal and in person
  • Ability to work with a team and adapt to a dynamically changing work environment
  • Ability to identify and resolve technology issues, multitask, maintain project timelines, and work with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with the Security Team to complete compliance and security projects
