- If selected, role requires for them to be ON SITE Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week (parking is not provided for contractors).

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator to support the stability, security, and performance of the organization's server and application infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage server and application performance, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently and securely.
- Implement and enforce security configurations and best practices for servers and applications.
- Assist in audit preparedness, ensuring servers and systems meet compliance standards and are ready for external audits.
- Work closely with the internal team to address and close out any findings from audits.
- Perform regular server maintenance to keep systems secure and performing optimally.
- Resolve server performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and system errors, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Regularly review server logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Provide backup support to team members handling other Operations activities, ensuring that all operational needs are met.
- Maintain thorough documentation of server configurations, procedures, and best practices for reference and training purposes.
Required/Desired Skills: - Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux/Unix-based systems, and other server environments.
- Experience with server performance monitoring tools to track and analyze system performance metrics.
- Knowledge of security tools and practices such as antivirus, encryption, firewalls, and system hardening.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting tools for routine server maintenance and management tasks.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms or other virtual environments.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for server environments.
- Broad understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancing) for troubleshooting and managing server communications.
- CompTIA Network+ (or similar networking certification) - A solid foundation in networking principles.
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) - Demonstrates expertise in managing Windows Server environments.
- ITIL Foundation - A basic understanding of IT service management frameworks, useful for providing operational support and service coverage.
