Your Opportunity for Impact

We are seeking a motivated System Administrator to join our Mission Solutions Business Area (MSBU) in support of a government contract. This dynamic IT environment requires flexible work schedules and all work is conducted 100% in the office, located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Some business travel, approximately 10%, may be required.

Your Role

As a Windows System Administrator, you will utilize your extensive experience to install, configure, support, and maintain both hardware and software systems. You will:
  • Manage Active Directory domain and infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Configure server roles, including promoting domain controllers and configuring RAID.
  • Deploy and manage Windows servers and workstations in various environments.
  • Administer hypervisor hosts and virtual machines (VMs).
  • Optimize system performance, allocate storage, and implement critical patches.
  • Support procurement for non-enterprise hardware and software.
  • Creatively develop new technical solutions to fulfill IT objectives.
  • Maintain and manage assets within our enterprise inventory system.
  • Address various ad hoc IT support requests in a timely manner.
  • Travel for work purposes, up to 10% of the time.
Clearance Requirement
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph is essential; we cannot nominate candidates for clearance processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 12+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Proven experience installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software systems.
  • Experience managing PC, server, laptop, and printer hardware and software.
  • Experience in non-enterprise IT environments.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2022/2016, Microsoft SQL Server, WSUS, MECM, and Dell EMC Unity Storage.
  • Strong task management skills and adaptability to changing requirements.
  • Team-oriented with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining system documentation.
  • Capacity to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs and perform setup in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel for business, up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Rubrik, Linux, Unix, and VMware/ESXI systems.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic (ST-SC-LC) and CAT-6 cabling termination.

Pay Range: $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The pay range provided is a general guideline and does not guarantee compensation or salary. Factors influencing offers include responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity.
