System Administrator to provide mission-critical support for Identity and Access Management (IdAM) systems across both development and production environments. This role is essential to ensuring the performance, security, and stability of virtual infrastructure supporting secure authentication and access control. Here's what your day-to-day might include: - Configuring and maintaining Virtual Machines (VMs) to support application deployment and performance
- Installing and updating Linux and Windows operating systems across development and production environments
- Performing security hardening, OS patching, and software updates (e.g., IAVAs, version upgrades)
- Monitoring and maintaining system health and status, responding to system alerts, and remediating issues
- Supporting ISSO functions and maintaining system compliance and documentation
- Using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Perl) to automate tasks and streamline administrative processes
- Working with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Maintaining documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet mission objectives
- Managing and responding to tickets in tools such as Jira, Redmine, and RT Tracker
- Coordinating closely with development teams and other IT staff to ensure system integrity and availability
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: - Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience with:
- Configuration and maintenance of Virtual Machines
- Linux and Windows operating systems
- Scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Perl)
- OS and software application patching
- Container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Identity directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP)
- Knowledge of computer operations, architectures, and platforms
- Familiarity with ticket tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Redmine, RT Tracker)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred: - Familiarity with Ansible and MongoDB
- Experience supporting ISSO functions and maintaining secure, accredited environments
Compensation Range: $99,000.00 - $170,000.00 The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role.
