Job Summary

SITEC is seeking a talented Systems Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. This role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, optimizing system performance, and resolving issues for a high-impact government mission. Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, troubleshooting system issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing resolutions.
  • Configure and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems, performing installations, updates, and optimizations.
  • Monitor system health, optimize resource utilization, and conduct system capacity planning.
  • Support the dispatch system, address hardware issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Assist users in accessing and effectively using IT systems, ensuring exceptional customer support.
  • Conduct system evaluations, audits, and user acceptance testing to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide training to team members or customers when necessary.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss issues, priorities, and progress.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (SITEC does not sponsor clearances).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
    • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on contracts of similar scope.
  • Experience with EKMS or KMI Networks is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with agency management and internal teams.
