Join the Leidos Digital Modernization team as a System Administrator. We have an exciting opportunity to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) located in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will manage air traffic control (ATC) simulation training equipment within our lab, ensuring the systems are running smoothly with proper installation and maintenance of both hardware and software. This is a full-time position with the potential for after-hours and weekend on-call support. During duty hours , you are required to be available within one hour of critical incident notifications and within six hours during non-duty hours or holidays if necessary. Travel for this position may range from 10% to 15%.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of software and hardware, including account management, user privileges, local group policy, software testing, restoration operations, contingency planning, and backups.
  • Ensure timely updates and patches are completed and available on site.
  • Collaborate with vendors and users, both on-site and remotely, to resolve user and network issues while maintaining domain integrity.
  • Support the development and implementation of training scenarios, including managing the logistics of shipping training pods to FAA facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and evaluative skills to assess information and make informed decisions.
  • Thorough understanding of system administration, with the ability to assist in training development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel 10% - 15% of the time.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability granted through the FAA, requiring U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting FAA operations is highly desirable.
  • An active Public Trust clearance with the FAA is a plus.
Salary for this role is $40-$42 hourly.

Pay Range: Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
