System Administrator Desktop Support

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator Desktop Support to join our growing team at Cal Paso Solar Electric. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our company's network and computer systems, as well as providing technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain network and computer systems.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.

- Install and upgrade software and operating systems.

- Provide technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

- Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution to technical problems.

- Conduct regular backups of system data and ensure data security.

- Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Work closely with the IT team to develop and implement network and system upgrades.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation of IT systems and procedures.

- Provide training and support to employees on technology policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or Desktop Support.

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

- Experience with network and system monitoring tools.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
