Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a System Admin to support our client remote. A System Administrator is responsible for monitoring server performance, performing regular backups, and managing server configurations. They review, test, and deploy patches, ensuring successful updates and maintaining documentation. System updates are planned and executed, with compatibility and performance monitored post-update. Security protocols are implemented and maintained, with regular audits and security patches applied. They provide technical support to end-users, resolving server access and performance issues. Detailed records of configurations, patches, and updates are kept, and collaboration with IT team members and vendors is essential. Additionally, they use monitoring tools to track system performance and generate reports to identify areas for improvement. You should expect a salary of $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements

2-3 Years of IT experience

Understanding in Server operating systems.

Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, or Group Policy management

Basic SQL knowledge

Ability to review, test, and deploy patches.

Familiarity with patch management tools and processes.
