Our client is currently seeking a System Admin-4 with TS/SCI with Full-Scope Poly Request: System Administrator 4 Work Location: Herndon, VA USA ACTIVE TOP SECRET SCI CLEARANCE - Active Counterintelligence polygraph (CIP) is required with ability to obtain Full Scope polygraph (FSP) post-start. Position Responsibilities: - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, VMs, networks, and data storage solutions. - Lead and mentor the IT systems team, assigning tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices, and fostering professional development. - Provide advanced technical support and guidance for system-related issues, ensuring high performance, security, and availability of IT systems. - Coordinate and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, network improvements, and integration of new technologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time. - Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, ensuring that all IT systems comply with industry regulations and organizational policies. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - A current Full Scope intelligence Poly (FSP). - System Administration experience of Linux/Unix or Windows platforms. - 5+ years' experience in troubleshooting complex network problems. - 5+ years' experience in communicating with customer representatives in a variety of forums, in both written and spoken form, regarding technical subjects. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Extensive experience with both RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows servers, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. - Proven ability to manage, optimize, and secure server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. - Familiar with advanced features such as virtualization, automation, and patch management across both platforms, and capable of integrating these systems into a cohesive IT infrastructure to support organizational needs - Extensive experience in following Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards, including the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), to ensure IT devices are properly configured and secured. - Skilled in hardening systems across various platforms by applying STIGs to mitigate vulnerabilities and comply with military and federal cybersecurity requirements. Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
