DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software.
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites.
Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.
Modifies, moves, and installs new equipment.
Performs technical tasks and provides site support.
Performs integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
Will interface with our Tier 2 technical support team and our Availability Management team to escalate any issues that require additional assistance to resolve.
Will perform Data Transfer Agent requests to transfer files between networks. REQUIREMENTS TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH FS POLY IS REQUIRED IAT Level 1 Education: HS/GED w/10 years of experience Bachelors' w/5 years of experience IAT Level 1: CompTIA A+ CE, CompTIA Network+ CE Mandatory Skill: Hardware Installation Installation Maintenance Maintenance & Repair Microsoft Software Applications Microsoft Windows System Administration Remote Desktop Administration Technology Knowledge Travel Special Requirement: Installation and response efforts for the position requires lifting equipment that weighs 20-30 pounds, walking, standing, pushing, and pulling; working around, under, and over desks, as well as professional personal interactions with customers. Salary: The likely salary range is up to $93k . This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
