The Greeter/Receptionist/Office Assistant is the welcoming face to St. Raymond School. This individual is responsible for creating a warm, professional, and safe atmosphere for all students, families, staff, and visitors. As a key member of the front office team, this position supports the daily administrative functions of the school and helps promote a positive and faith-filled environment aligned with Catholic values.

Key ResponsibilitiesReception & Front Desk Duties: - Warmly welcome and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors upon arrival.
- Ensure proper sign-in/out procedures for visitors, following school security protocols.
- Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate personnel; take and distribute
messages as needed. - Monitor front entrance and maintain a secure and orderly front office environment.
Office & Clerical Support: - Assist with daily attendance tracking and student sign-outs.
- Provide general clerical support including filing, copying, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Distribute mail and incoming packages.
- Assist with creating and preparing communications such as newsletters, flyers, and announcements.
- Support with organizing school events and distributing event materials.
Student & Staff Support: - Assist with caring for students who come to the office for minor injuries or illness (under direction of the health aide or school nurse).
- Deliver messages or items to classrooms.
- Support teachers and administration with basic office needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and a calm, supportive demeanor in fast-paced situations.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional clerical or administrative training preferred.
- Prior experience in a school office or receptionist role strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Catholic education or willingness to support the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm and welcoming presence.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a dynamic school environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic office equipment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Work Environment: - Position requires frequent interaction with students, staff, and families.
- May require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.), standing for long periods, or assisting during school events.
- Work is primarily indoors in a school front office setting.

This position has an hourly range of - $15 - $17 per hour. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
