Closing Date: 04/18/2025 The Classical Academy is seeking a qualified applicant to be the head coach of our girls flag football team. Interested applicants should be familiar with coaching the fundamentals of flag football and the CHSAA rules that apply to it. The season will be from August 12 through October 19th and will consist of maximum of 15 games before playoffs begin. It is beneficial if the applicant is familiar with the academic and athletic philosophy of TCA.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Assistant to the Activities Director in developing all aspects of a specific sport program.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Activities Director

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Serves as a middle school, freshman, junior varsity, or varsity assistant coach and is classified as an assistant to the Activities Director
- Assumes the responsibilities for the development of the specific team within the total program, under the direction of the Activities Director
- Attends all coaches' meetings called by the Activities Director
- Carries out assignments given by the Activities Director
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Undergraduate degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: Experience as a coach at the secondary level is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Ability to represent the school community with high character when interacting with a variety of public groups, i.e. leagues, organizations, schools, and media
- Ability to communicate with all activities staff, as well as parents, students, other staff members, and visitors to the school
- Demonstrated knowledge of the sport(s) assigned
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

- Spend majority of work time standing and walking while performing job duties
