As the Sweet Dreams Certified Nursing Assistant, you will partner with our Director of Patient Care Services and Interdisciplinary Teams to further that mission. Passionate company culture committed to the highest standard of care in the hospice industry Advanced training programs Mileage Reimbursement Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and more HSA & 401(k) available PTO and Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement On an average day you will: Spend quality one on one time with patients and their families to support everyday needs Care for hospice patients by providing paths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen as often as needed Provide bedtime care including personal hygiene regimens as required Provide aroma therapy and gentle touch Provide lotion rubs to hands and feet Perform personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the Case Manager immediately. Provide patient and family with positive communication techniques, within realm of ethical and respectful care, including confidentiality. Help patients dress and undress Record important health information including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Assess and report patient condition and any significant changes to the Case Manager Assist patients with ambulation and exercise Respect patient and family/caregiver environment and patient's personal needs And additional duties as assigned Qualifications An enthusiasm for providing the best possible care to patients and their families A CNA or HHA license in good standing Must be able to work in the evenings, generally from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Must be flexible in work hours to ensure the patients receive care as provided in the plan of care 1 year of experience in hospice or home health preferred A valid driver's license with an automobile in good working order that is properly registered and insured Current CPR certification Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills And additional related duties as needed Bristol Hospice is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-verify
